Visit the Alhambra

As Federico García Lorca once said, "Granada is defenseless before the people; because before flattery, nothing and no one has a means of defense."

Located in Andalucia, a region of southern Spain, Granada is nestled in the Sierra Nevada mountains. A place with a great wealth of medieval architecture and traditions.

History Around Every Corner

Be swept away by your senses

A land that has captured the hearts of hundreds of artists, who have since expressed their appreciation through music, writing and dance.

The inspiration of great minds such as Matisse, Ernest Hemingway, Alejandro Dumas, Manuel de Falla and Federico García Lorca.

The Alhambra and the Generalife Gardens

The Alhambra was declared a World Heritage Site in 1984. It is the symbol of Granada, the culmination of Muslim art in Europe and the most visited monument in Spain.

The Alhambra was built by the monarchs of the Nasrid dynasty to be a city, fortress, and palace in one. The Moorish part consists of the Generalife Gardens, the Nasrid Palaces, and the Alcazaba—a labyrinth of disparate buildings connected to each other by courtyards and corridors. In the Christian part, we can find the palace of Carlos V and the church of Santa María.

In the Alhambra, light and water are the protagonists. The ornamentation changes according to the angle of incidence of the light. The water acts like a mirror and perfectly reflects the architecture and decorative elements.

A masterful combination of colours and contours. The Alhambra was abandoned in the 18th century. Its repair, restoration and conservation did not begin until the 19th century.

And when the sun goes down...

ONE OF THE MAIN ATTRACTIONS OF SIERRA NEVADA IS THE POSSIBILITY OF SKIING AT NIGHT ON AN ILLUMINATED AND SPECIALLY EQUIPPED SLOPE.

During the day, it's easy to enjoy a variety of sports and snow activities. At night, a party atmosphere emerges with tapas, drinks, restaurants, discos and much more.
